A FATHER OR A DAD?

Yesterday, i watched a movie about a man who donated so much sperm that he ended up being the biological father of about 500 children. his antics in the film got me laughing so hard tears roll down my cheeks. the movie was really hilarious but while i was laughing about it, it also got me thinking; what is the different a father and a dad?and what makes a father a dad? Let's be sincere, any man can become a father, all it requires is a fast enough sperm meeting and egg and fertilizing it to form an embryo, which thereby becomes a baby after nine months, just a biological process. So, being a father is not such a big deal but being a dad is. A dad is that man who is always there for his children, he wipes their tears and soothes their pains, he provides financially and he is also there emotionally with lots of love and care. A dad will not put his job before his children, he will not put that contract before them. The man that leaves home before his children wakes up in the morning and returns when they must have gone to bed for the night is certainly not a "dad material" A dad makes all the difference in his child's life, he is a pillar of strength, support and discipline. His work is endless and oftentimes thankless. But in the end, it shows in the sound, well-adjusted children he raises. Only a good father is worthy of 'dadhood". The question is, are u a father or a dad?
